Help Dr. Archibald collect retirement money by tilting your device and collecting coins. This is a platformer / puzzle game that easier shown than described. Check out the video below and download it while it’s free if you like that type of game.

In my limited time playing, I found it pretty fun.  I’m not sure if this game will have lasting fun but for free, you can’t really complain.

I really enjoy playing Chop Chop Ninja and feel it was definitely worth the $.99 I spent on it. It’s currently free, so you should definitely get this. While this is a fun and entertaining platformer that requires a lot of tapping, the art in this game alone is a good enough reason to pick it up. Just look at the loading screen.

SpringFling is a Doodle Jump Style game with the goal of trying to get as high as possible without falling through the bottom of the screen. Instead of the constant bouncing like in Doodle Jump, you control the jumping of your character by pulling down to compress the spring and then letting go.  While compressing the spring you can also choose the angle by moving your thumb left and right.

This is a fun game that’s easy to pick up and play.  There are two game modes, Static, and Scrolling.  In scrolling the screen is constantly scrolling and you must keep up.  The other mode is static where you have a set number of jumps you can use.  Collecting powerups will allow you to continue in this mode.

If you’re a fan of Doodle Jump or other similar games I definitely recommend picking this one up.

I picked this up while it was available on iTunes for a short time, after an accidental release.  If you hurry you might be able to pick it up in some areas before it’s pulled from the App Store.

I’ve played the tutorial level and the first level. I really like the game. I have no problem with the slider controls. It did take a little getting used to, but that’s the point of the tutorial. I played around a bit on the first level too just jumping and getting a feel and I’m having no problem with the controls now. I actually really like the layout of the slider and where the buttons are. I haven’t missed a button yet.

I’m actually quite impressed with the voice acting too. I usually hate the voice acting in all iphone games, but this one is not bad at all. They did a great job.

I haven’t seen any slow down at all on my non-jailbroken 3Gs. And I didn’t even reboot my iPhone when completed.

Overall, I’m liking the game quite a bit so far. Is it worth the price? Well I’m only on the 2nd level so we’ll see. For some of you I think it will be worth the price (based on what I’ve played I’m thinking it will be), but if you’re one of those people that feels everything should be $1 or super cheap, then just wait for the inevitable price drop after a few weeks to a month, then pick it up.

The only complaint I have so far, is that I’m not very good at the stealthy stuff. It took my about 4 tries in the tutorial to kill the 3 guys. But don’t worry, I don’t think it’s cause of the game. I think it’s cause I kinda suck.

EDIT: For those that were wondering.  I don’t have a DS and I’m fine with the controls on the iPhone. I do recommend picking this up.
