SkyVu Pictures has released Battle Bears -1 into the App Store. If this prequel is half as good as Battle Bears Zombies, it’s going to be with getting. And it’s only $.99.

I was out of the country for the past week, but now I’m back and I will continue to update the website.

From here moving forward I will be going back to the original design of this site and will be leaving short reviews for apps and games.  And when I say short reviews, I mean short reviews.  Check out some of the original posts from this site and you’ll see what I mean.

Yes that title is referring to the TV series Lost! However this game is not made by the creators of Lost or ABC. Then why do I say it’s a Lost game if the app description doesn’t mention it at all?

Well let’s see…
1. You are a Smoke Monster going around killing people
2. You’re in the jungle
3. An airplane flies over that looks like it’s about to crash.
4. There are polar bears in the jungle
5. There are sonar barricades that you can’t pass through
6. The music is a perfect takeoff of the Lost score.

Just to name a few reason.

So if you’re a fan of the game snake, you might like this fun variation. However if you’re a true Lost fan, this game is a ‘must have’

For $.99 there’s no reason not to have this Lost…er…snake game.

Smoke Monster – App Store

Two Games that are regularly $9.99 have dropped in price.  Now is the time to get Galcon Fusion [ App Store ] and Geometry Wars [ App Store ]

Galcon Fusion [ App Store ] has dropped 80% down to $1.99.  This game is a real-time strategy game with great online multiplayer. If you’re curious, check out the free version for the iPhone and iPod Touch called Galcon Lite [ App Store ].  It has the basic gameplay with no multiplayer features.

Geometry Wars Touch [ App Store ] has dropped 50% down to $4.99.  And the best part is that Geometry Wars is now a universal app, so it will play on your iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch.

FlyFu is free and worth looking at just for the visuals. The doodled backgrounds are great and mixed with what appears to be photorealistic insects works pretty well. The only bummer part is that there isn’t too much more to the game than walking back and forth pressing the attack button.  Since it’s free, if you like these types of ‘walk right and punch and kick a bunch’ type of games, check it out.  You have nothing to lose.

If you’re not into these types of games skip over this one…unless you want to see a very unique art style.  I’m actually liking playing the game just for the backgrounds…but that’s not really a good reason to play a game, is it?
