Geo Fighter – Light Wars is free today. This is a knockoff of Geometry Wars. I’ve played it for a little bit today and it’s quite fun. I recommend picking it up.

It’s a really fun game that I can’t recommend enough. Check out my review here. I mean, honestly, how could you not like a game where you shoot stuffed bears and rainbows fly out of their heads.

If you haven’t checked out the Free App A Day site yet. Do it. It’s a pretty cool site. In an attempt to bring attention to specific apps, they are working with multiple Developers to drop the prices of quality apps to free for one day only.
They get a lot of attention for their game and company and we get a free app each day. I’ll of course continue to let you know about the more interesting apps here at Short app Reviews, but you should definitely check out their site at www.freeappaday.com.
I recommend picking up Classics while it’s free. You can get a little bit of the “iBooks” feature from the new iPad before the iPad is released. This is because the book reading app, Classics, definitely influenced the design of Apple’s iPad book reader.
Classics includes some of the greatest classics in literatures including The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, The Count of Monte Cristo, Frankenstein, Dracula, and Treasure Island. I highly recommend picking up this app while it’s free for a limited time. It’s a great book reader that just looks gorgeous. I love this app.
