V is for Vortex is best described as Portal for the iPhone. It’s by no means a direct port. It’s more of a 2D puzzle game with the same concept as portal.
Your stick figure character carries a gun that fires two different types of “bullets.” Each one sets up a portal. If you go in one portal you’ll come out the other.
V for Vortex is a puzzle game where you have to get to the exit by using your specialized portal weapon. It tajes some creative thinking and is quite fun to play. The accelerometer controls to move your character work fine and the tap to fire your weapon is quite accurate.
Everybody should consider this game based on the concept alone, it’s a lot of fun. If you’re into puzzle games, I’d say this is a must have.

Secret Diary is currently free and my early impressions of this app are that it is pretty well made.
The design is visually appealing and easy to use. These are a must in my oppinion for any writing app.
Your entries are safeguarded by a passcode, you can add images and your current location. The app also includes a full search to help you find a specific entry.
I haven’t had a chance to try out every feature of this app but if you want or need a diary/journal app this looks like a great choice. Even at $.99 or $1.99 I could easily recommend it.

BomberDove is a simple and fun pick up and play game. You use accelerometer controls to move your slingshot weilding character back and forth on the screen. Above your character are many, many doves, all that need to go to the bathroom.
The goal of the game is to dodge their droppings while tapping the screen to shoot your slingshot at the birds.
The game concept and controls work great. It’s fun dodging poo and trying to take out the doves. There’s not a lot of depth to the game, but there is Open Feint integration with achievements to be earned so that adds to the game. There are also three modes, endless, timed, and dodge (no firing back).
BomberDove is currently free so if you’re looking for some short bursts of fun I recommend picking it up.

Check out Flickitty. It’s a physics based platformer game with the goal of making your kitty employee of the month. It kind of sounds like a girly game, but it’s fun for everyone.
You pull your kitty’s head in a particular direction and his neck stretches away from his body. When you let go, the body catches up to the head and the physics take over flinging your ragdoll kitty in the direction you pulled the head. It’s quite fun pulling and flicking your little kitty to and fro to accomplish tasks. The graphics are well done and the little kitty is really cute. I recommend picking up this game.
