The much anticipated “Eliminate” is out in Canada.  Ngmoco has chosen to only release the game in Canada as a “beta” to test out the bugs.  Early reviews are coming in that this game IS all that it’s cracked up to be.  After the limited Canadian release Eliminate will be released to the rest of the world.

If you’re a Canadian, go here to get the game.  Or you can always make a Canadian iTunes account if you can’t just wait.  Not only is it anticipated to be one of the best games for the iPhone and iPod Touch, it’s also free!

EDIT:  I have now tried this game out and I have to say.  It is great.  This is a must have app.  Download it as soon as you can.

Ezone’s Scarecrow for the iPhone and iPod Touch is free today in honor of Halloween. This game is definitely worth getting.

The object is to send the scarecrow as high as possible without falling back below the bottom of the screen or being killed by an obstacle.

Tapping the screen causes a small explosion sending your scarecrow up a little bit. The sky is littered with popcorn kernels and each time the scarecrow touches a kernel it pops into popcorn sending the scarecrow a little higher. You must tilt the screen to help aim the scarecrow away from danger and toward more popcorn kernels.

The ragdoll physics of the scarecrow are spot on and adjust if the scarecrow loses a limb. It’s quite fun to watch him flop around the screen as he gets blasted higher and higher.

Pick it up while it’s free and see how high you can send your Scarecrow.

Check out Heavy Crossbow. Use a large crossbow to defend your castle against the onslaught of enemies

I only played the first two levels and it’s a little slow at first but it has potential.

For free, it’s worth picking up and trying out.

App has released a lite version of their popular game Zombie Pizza.  You can pick up Zombie Pizza Lite and try it before you buy it.  The game is a blast and it even contains features that the full version doesn’t have.

You can also pick up Paradise: The Beginning for short time at the awesome price of zero dollars.  This is not a lite version.  The is the full version of the game.  Paradise: The beginning is a great dual stick shooter.  Use one thumb to move around and the other to fire.  This post-apocalyptic game sports good music, well painted backgrounds and fun gameplay.  Survive as long as you can against the onslaught of  never ending enemies.

Download the latest version of Doodle Jump and change your name on the menu page to “Boo.”

You will get to play the Halloween version of the game. It’s at night with limited visibility, there’s a new backdrop, and you character is a ghost.

This accelerometer based game is really fun. If you don’t already own Doodle Jump get it. I can’t recommend it enough.
